Oak Harbor

Oak Harbor, Ohio is a village in Ottawa County and is 30 miles east of Downtown Toledo. Known as the “Warbler Capital of the World”, its shores serve as a resting spot for thousands of warblers each spring before they continue their trek across Lake Erie to Canada. Visitors from all over the United States and around the world flock to witness this phenomenon each May at Magee Marsh Wildlife Area, the Black Swamp Bird Observatory and the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge.

Oak Harbor is home to the annual Apple Festival which is held the second full weekend in October. Many apple-themed events are scheduled, including the "Apple Run", a five-kilometer race on the Sunday of the festival. Enjoy our small town feel on the big Lake. We look forward to seeing you soon!
