This is one egg-citing event! Imagination Station visitors are encouraged to take a crack at the Egg Drop Challenge and put their engineering skills and ingenuity to the test Saturday and Sunday, April 13 – 14.

The Egg Drop Challenge is one that has visitors scrambling to eggs-periment with different materials as they develop a contraption to protect an egg from a 20-foot drop.

 Rules for the Competition

• The contraption must be constructed on-site at Imagination Station.
• The whole protective system may be no larger than an 8×8 inch box.
• You must be able to easily remove your egg for eggs-amination.
• You must drop your egg from the 20-ft balcony from the upper level to lower level at the science center.
• The Egg Drop Challenge is free for visitors with paid Imagination Station admission.
