The 2019 Marathon Classic Presented by Dana Hits the Links July 8-14 at Highland Meadows Golf Club

The LPGA comes to town for the 34th year of the Marathon Classic Presented by Dana golf tournament that has earned the reputation as a player and fan favorite! In addition to world-class golf, don’t miss a week of fun events such as a series of pro-ams, a gala party and a kids’ zone complete with scavenger hunts, golf lessons and interactive events. What’s Special About the Tournament?

The Marathon Classic Presented by Dana is one of the longest running events on the LPGA Tour and has become a huge event attracting over 70,000 spectators to Northwest Ohio to witness the greatest women golfers in the world compete at Highland Meadows Golf Club in the tree-lined Toledo suburb of Sylvania, Ohio. This year’s Marathon LPGA Classic will be played for a purse of $1.75 million. All four rounds of the tournament will once again be nationally televised by The Golf Channel.

LPGA Players Currently Committed to Play
Leading the list of commitments is top rated American, Lexi Thompson and Toledo native Stacy Lewis. Other commitments include 2019 winners Brooke Henderson, Minjee Lee and Sei Young Kim. Other notable commitments include Danielle Kang, Cristie Kerr, Michelle Wie, Gerina Piller, defending champion Jasmine Suwannapura and past Marathon LPGA Classic champions Lydia Ko, Paula Creamer and So Yeon Ryu. Working Hard for Children’s Charities
Through the teamwork of over 1,500 volunteers and 400 local businesses, the Marathon Classic makes a difference for children in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. Since its inception in 1984, the tournament has contributed nearly $12 million to 180 charities! Each year, the event goes through an evaluation process to select the charities for the upcoming tournament year. Two charities that are core recipients each year from the event’s proceeds are the Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Jamie Farr Scholarship Fund administered by the Toledo Community Foundation.

Marathon Classic Ticket Options
The Marathon Classic Presented by Dana tickets can be purchased online and are offered at area Kroger stores. Available tickets include Clubhouse, Grounds and Labatt Blue Light Party Deck passes. Buy one get one free Weekly Grounds passes purchased at Kroger. Also 100% of the ticket price goes to an eligible children's charity of your choosing online, as well as in Kroger stores.

Who Receives Free Admission?
The 2019 Marathon LPGA Classic will once again provide free admittance to all active and retired police officers, firefighters and military personnel along with one guest. Kids under the age of 17 will also be admitted free into the tournament as long as they are accompanied by a ticketed adult.

Labatt Blue Light Party Deck
The Labatt Blue Light Party Deck offers a fun and lively atmosphere overlooking the beautiful Par 3, 14th hole! From caddy races to LPGA player giveaways, the Party Deck is the place to be to network with the business community! Labatt Blue Light Party Deck tickets are $60 each per day with a daily admission ticket to gain access to the tournament (Thursday and Friday admission tickets $15, Saturday and Sunday admission tickets $20). *Must be 21 years of age to enter Party Deck. Labatt Beer products, Pepsi products and snacks are included in the price of each Party Deck ticket.
