Hutchinson and his descendants built one of the largest shipping lines on the Great Lakes, spanning over a century of operation.

Discover the lives of three generations that propelled Hutchinson & Co. to prominence in the shipping industry, from John T. Hutchinson’s entrepreneurial spirit to the expansion overseen by his son, Charles L., and grandson, John T. Jr.
