CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL RED PANDA DAY WITH THE TOLEDO ZOO!
All donations received leading up to and on International Red Panda Day will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000 by a generous anonymous donor!
FRIDAY, SEPT. 20
12:30 p.m. – Join us for a Facebook live feed featuring our favorite redheads and learn more about their big day!
SATURDAY, SEPT. 21
11 a.m. – Red panda enrichment at their exhibit in Primate Forest
2:30 p.m. – Red panda painting demo. Come see our girls create a work of art in their exhibit.
Throughout the day:
- Primate Forest – talk all things red pandas with Zoo volunteers and explore educational red panda activities.
- Nature’s Neighborhood– get creative with a red panda themed craft and coloring sheets.
- Mazza Gallery in the ProMedica Museum of Natural History – grab a book, stay awhile and enjoy red panda coloring sheets.
- Grab a bite to eat – 5% of all food sales support our red pandas on Sept 21!
- Check out The Bird Feeder, Café at the Museum and Timberline Bakery to enjoy red panda inspired treats like raspberry and strawberry Dole Whip and red velvet cake!
- Grab a cold one at the Beastro – 10% of all beer sales for the entire weekend will support our cause!
- Take a red panda memento home with you – North Star Gift Shop will feature red panda plush toys, t-shirts and more!
International Red Panda Day activities included with Zoo admission.
