Black History Month Poetry Jam

Thursday, February 8 – Poetry Jam from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Local writers of all levels of experience are invited to participate in this reading and informal slam competition. Participants are invited to read for 3-5 minutes on the theme “Our Roots Run Deep,” reflecting on their personal cultural heritage and/or the diversity of American culture as a whole. The event is offered at the Ebeid Student Center on the first floor of Russell Ebeid Hall.
