Celebrate Toledo’s literary and performing arts community at the kick-off to this season’s Loop series. Features this month include the annual Ode to the Zip Code Poetry reading and contest, hosted in partnership with the Fair Housing Center, Toledo-Lucas County Public Library, and Toledo City Paper, as well as local author’s meet up, open mics, and assorted performances from Toledo’s performing arts community.
WHAT IS ART LOOP
The Loop is Toledo’s signature monthly arts experience. Explore the downtown creative community through self-guided tours of the art, artists, and spaces that inspire a vibrant Toledo. The Loop is a program of The Arts Commission, presented in partnership with the artists and participating venues who make it possible. Art Loop takes place each third Thursday of the month April-December, 5:30-9pm.
HOW TO LOOP
You are welcome to walk, cycle, drive, or dance your way through The Loop, but one of the most
exciting ways is to hop aboard a bus, made possible through the Arts Commission’s partnership with TARTA. There is too much to see and do during one Loop; visit us each month for new experiences and more fun! EXACT CHANGE of $1.25 is needed per person to ride the bus. Already have a TARTA pass - just hop on and enjoy!
