Tom Hofbauer is celebrating his 20th year as an independent filmmaker and is screening his first feature film, "In the Company of Strangers" as part of that celebration.
There will be two screenings on Friday, January 11, at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at the Maumee Indoor Theatre in Maumee, Ohio. Each screening will be followed by a Q&A by the filmmaker. There will be some members of the cast and crew in attendance that night.

Tom started his career producing commercials locally. His first bigger project was a series of comedy shorts that were created with future members of The Around the Bend Players Improv Troupe. He followed that up with "In the Company of Strangers". This film was followed by his first documentary, "ADDICT, Racing for Recovery, the Todd Crandell STory".
Tom then went on to work as a location producer and cinematographer on the Oscar-nominated documentary film, "Twist of Faith". This film was produced for HBO by Eddie Schmidt and directed by Kirby Dick.
